Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve
A dual-supply relay installation cannot be serviced correctly with a common single-supply body, which is the fitment problem the Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve addresses in this application. Once that supply arrangement is confirmed, the five-position delivery layout and 0.0 psi crack setting define how the valve responds and distributes air. The Bendix 801742 also uses mixed outlet sizes with an internal supply passage feeding the cover. Checking the two supply connections first, then the delivery and pressure details, gives service teams a logical way to confirm the pneumatic layout before installation.
