STEMCO Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal

The STEMCO Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal is part of the Discover® wheel seal line and is built as a unitized seal for drive axle oil bath hubs. Unlike conventional multi-piece seals, this design integrates the sealing element and wear surface into a single assembly, helping control installation depth and reducing the chance of cocking the seal during press-in. The Discover® design maintains consistent lip contact on the spindle while managing oil retention under continuous axle shaft rotation. Because drive axle hubs experience constant torque load and higher rotational stress, proper seal seating and spindle surface protection are critical to long-term oil control. The STEMCO 393-0273 is engineered to maintain that contact profile without requiring separate sleeve installation.
