STEMCO Hub Seal Installation Tool
If a replacement hub seal needs controlled, even seating in a heavy tandem wheel end, the STEMCO Hub Seal Installation Tool drives the hub seal evenly into the bore on selected tandem-axle wheel ends. Featuring a 551-series hub-tool head for 38,000- and 46,000-pound tandem axle applications, the assembly serves wheel-end seal installation on the supported heavy tandem axle applications. In that system, the STEMCO 551-5320 applies installation force through the tool head instead of directly through the seal edge. Once installed, it gives the installer a dedicated head for seating the seal to the hub without cocking it.
