Uneven ride height can affect load distribution and handling, which is why the Bendix Suspension Self-Leveling Valve plays a key role in air suspension systems. This valve senses the position of the suspension and adjusts air pressure to maintain a consistent ride height. As load increases or decreases, it either adds or releases air from the suspension bags to bring the chassis back into position. That adjustment happens automatically as conditions change during operation. Ride height control stays consistent with the Bendix SV1468 regulating air flow to the suspension.
