Bendix Air Brake Foot Valve
Pedal-controlled service braking on air-braked trucks is the use case for the Bendix Air Brake Foot Valve, which meters air to both service circuits. The harder the driver presses, the more air the valve delivers, so internal wear shows up as uneven or slow braking. Replacing it restores proportional control at the pedal on front and rear circuits. Testing for leaks with the brakes fully applied after the Bendix 800632 goes in confirms the seals are holding.
