ConMet Drum Brake and Hub Assembly

The ConMet Drum Brake and Hub Assembly is a 13,000 lb rated iron PreSet hub supplied with the brake drum mounted as a single integrated unit. Because the drum is installed to the hub during manufacturing, the mounting surfaces and drum position are set before the assembly reaches the shop. The PreSet design incorporates an internal spacer system that establishes bearing setting at build time, eliminating the need for manual bearing adjustment during installation.
