Instead of replacing the complete brake assembly, the kit focuses service on the protective boots and related tappet-area components. The Bendix K092079 groups those pieces into one package for the wear-sensitive interface. This makes the kit useful when inspection finds torn or deteriorated protection but the surrounding brake hardware remains serviceable, allowing contamination control to be renewed without expanding the job unnecessarily.
