Bendix Air Brake Towing Vehicle Protection Valve
Protecting the tractor air system when trailer supply conditions change is the role of the Bendix Air Brake Towing Vehicle Protection Valve. With the Bendix 802926, the TP-5 design combines tractor-protection control with quick release of the trailer service line, while cab or chassis mounting keeps the valve within the tractor plumbing. The protection valve uses push-to-connect tractor-control ports plus a 1/2-14 NPT trailer-service connection.
