Product Description
Air Dryer
Features & Benefits
- Auxiliary and secondary delivery circuits open at 112 psi
- Employs a 1/2-14 NPT supply connection for the charging circuit
- Adds a 153 psi safety-valve opening point to the dryer assembly
- AD-IS stand-alone design combines air drying with pressure protection
Bendix Air Brake Dryer
Techs pulling an AD-IS dryer for replacement will find the Bendix Air Brake Dryer ships as a stand-alone unit with its own pressure settings. Auxiliary and secondary delivery opening pressure is 112 psi, while the supply connection uses 1/2-14 NPT. The Bendix K049199 also incorporates a safety valve set to open at 153 psi. These pressure and connection details provide more useful confirmation than the dryer housing alone when comparing AD-IS variants used in similar compressed-air systems.
