Before air pressure gets too high or drops too low, the Bendix Air Brake Compressor Governor steps in to regulate the system. This remanufactured D-2 governor controls when the compressor cuts in and out, keeping air pressure within a working range. That cycling is what keeps the brake system supplied without overloading it. Worn governors can lead to inconsistent pressure levels, which affect overall brake performance. Replacing it helps bring the system back into balance. In the air system loop, the Bendix OR275491X helps manage pressure cycling.
