Bendix Air Brake Pressure Protection Valve
A leak in an accessory circuit that also drains the primary brake reservoirs points to a failed pressure protection valve, calling for the Bendix Air Brake Pressure Protection Valve. That valve isolates the accessory circuit from the primary system, closing accessory supply if pressure drops below its set point so primary reservoirs stay protected. The Bendix 288323N is calibrated to close at the same pressure point as the valve it replaces, so the primary system keeps the protection it was designed with. A working valve is what keeps an accessory leak from ever becoming a reservoir problem.
