Bendix Air Brake Dryer Purge Valve Kit

The Bendix Air Brake Dryer Purge Valve Kit maintains the health of the air system on 24V AD-9 dryers. This 24V / 75W component uses a hard seat design to withstand the repeated cycling required to exhaust moisture and oil from the desiccant bed during every compressor unload. Because the valve includes an integrated heater, it stays functional in freezing weather to stop the purge port from icing over and backing up the air system. Clearing out these contaminants prevents water from reaching the brake valves where it would otherwise cause internal corrosion and freezing. The Bendix 5004480 assembly includes the internal O-rings and grease needed to ensure the dryer housing remains airtight and leak-free after the installation is complete.
