Control the parking brakes cleanly from the driver's seat by fitting the Bendix Air Brake Dash Valve. A worn dash valve can let the knob creep out, or leak air behind the panel while the truck sits. After the Bendix 800840 goes in, the knob should pop out on its own when system pressure falls below the set point, a check worth doing before the truck heads out. Matching the knob color and label to the original keeps the controls easy to tell apart.
