Hot coolant has one simple job: move cabin heat where it needs to go, and the Gates Green Stripe Heater Hose is the line that carries it. This hose is built for heater-circuit duty on trucks, buses, and off-road equipment, so it belongs in the part of the cooling system that deals with temperature swings, pressure, and constant circulation. EPDM construction and electrochemical-degradation resistance matter here because a heater hose has to stay flexible and keep coolant moving through the cab-heating circuit over time. In heater-system service, the Gates 28444 brings that heavy-duty coolant path back into place.
