Bendix Air Brake Chamber Bracket

A cracked or bent chamber bracket can throw the chamber out of line with the slack adjuster, and the Bendix Air Brake Chamber Bracket replaces it. When the chamber sits at the wrong angle, pushrod travel is lost and braking on that wheel weakens until the Bendix K082870 squares it up again. Checking the mounting surfaces on the chamber and axle before installation catches other damage from the same impact. Rechecking pushrod stroke after the bracket goes on confirms the geometry is correct.
