- Designed to collect and remove moisture as well as solid, liquid, and vapor contaminants from the air before entering the air brake system
- An integrated air supply system that provides heavy duty vehicles with an integrated air dryer, purge reservoir, governor, and various charging valve components in a module
- Consists of a “spin on” desiccant cartridge that is secured to a base assembly, which contains a delivery check valve assembly, safety valve, heater and thermostat assembly, threaded air connections, and the purge valve assembly
- With pressure protection valves designed to protect each reservoir from a pressure loss in an air accessory or a pressure loss in the other reservoir
- Has a purge control channel drain that allows any condensation in the air dryer
- Operates alternately between the charge cycle and the purge cycle
- Offers ease of serviceability since replaceable assemblies can be serviced without the need to remove the air dryer from the vehicle
- Extends the service life of the air brake system components
- Helps prevent air brake system freeze up, avoid costly downtime, and reduce maintenance costs
