Stemco Steering King Pin Set

At the center of the steering axle pivot point, the Stemco Steering King Pin Set allows the steering knuckle to rotate as the wheels turn. Steering movement travels from the steering linkage into the axle assembly where the pivot hardware carries the load. It forms the vertical hinge point that handles turning movement between the axle and the steering knuckle. As the steering wheel moves left or right, the pivot hardware allows the wheel assembly to follow that motion. In the steering pivot assembly, the Stemco K181R provides the hardware that allows the steering knuckle to rotate on the axle.
