Pushrod stroke that keeps growing even after adjustment can mean the camshaft itself has worn, and the Bendix Air Brake Camshaft replaces it. A flattened cam head or worn journals add slack before the shoes ever reach the drum. Fitting the Bendix K082628 during a full reline, with new bushings and rollers, removes that free travel. Matching length, hand, and spline count to the original confirms the fit at the slack adjuster and bracket.
