MGM Double Diaphragm Brake Chamber

To convert air pressure into brake movement, the MGM Double Diaphragm Brake Chamber works at the drum brake actuation point. This chamber combines service brake operation with spring brake holding force in one wheel-end air brake component. During service braking, air pressure moves the pushrod and transfers force into the linkage. During parking or emergency operation, the spring section supplies mechanical holding power. The MGM Brakes 3427051 handles both air-applied stopping force and spring-applied holding force.
