Euclid Right Hand Air Brake Camshaft
The Euclid Right Hand Air Brake Camshaft is used on right-side trailer brake positions where a 16.5-inch drum brake relies on S-cam rotation to apply the shoes. Its 20-3/8-inch effective length, 1-1/2-inch journal diameter, and 28-spline end distinguish it from similar camshafts that may look close but sit differently in the brake. The shaft connects directly with the slack adjuster, then rotates through the spider support so the cam head can push the shoes outward. Matching this camshaft to the correct paired left-hand shaft, repair kit, and brake hardware helps avoid side-to-side brake mismatch. With Euclid E3855, the right-hand brake gets the shaft that controls shoe apply from the lever side.
