For Dexter PQ brake relining, the Euclid Unlined Drum Brake Shoe supplies the bare shoe body for a 12.25-inch drum brake before friction material is added. Its standard black coating, curved steel web, and 24-rivet-hole pattern make it look like a brake foundation piece waiting for the selected lining. The shoe is not meant to be judged like a finished lined assembly because the friction surface still has to be installed as part of the rebuild process.
