Euclid Air Brake Camshaft Repair Kit
To restore balanced brake actuation, the Euclid Air Brake Camshaft Repair Kit services camshaft assemblies with a 1-5/8 in cam journal configuration. The camshaft is responsible for translating air pressure into rotational force that spreads brake shoes against the drum surface. When support hardware inside the assembly begins to loosen or shift, braking force can feel inconsistent across the axle. With corrected support alignment, the camshaft rotates more evenly and applies force across the shoe surface without irregular movement.
