It cycles the air pressure to the brake chambers many times a second, easing and reapplying the brakes faster than a foot ever could to hold the wheel just short of a skid. A 24V feed ties it into a standard heavy-duty electrical setup, and a DIN 72585 bayonet plug seals the connection to the control unit against the weather. Wired to the ECU, the WABCO 4721950160 works each wheel through a panic stop.
