Bendix Air Brake Compressor

The Bendix Air Brake Compressor supplies the compressed air every brake and accessory circuit on the truck runs on. Because the Bendix KN7000X is an exchange unit, the worn compressor goes back as a core when the new one goes on. A compressor that pumps oil or builds pressure slowly loads the dryer and starves the system, which is why replacement usually follows a failed build-up test. Changing the dryer cartridge and clearing carbon from the discharge line at the same time protects the new unit.
