Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve
Relaying control pressure quickly to the brake chambers is the job of the Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve. The valve belongs in the service-brake pneumatic circuit, where it uses a local air supply to reduce the delay between a control signal and chamber pressure. Positioning that reservoir air near the axle is what shortens the pneumatic response distance on the Bendix 103009N.
