Euclid Air Brake Spider Assembly
The Euclid Air Brake Spider Assembly forms the brake foundation mounting structure on Standard Forge axles not drilled for dust shields. It includes the E-759 bushing and E-1416 seal, giving the brake service more than a bare casting while no longer including the anchor bolt. The spider sits behind the brake shoes and carries the fixed points that let the camshaft, shoe hardware, and axle-side brake structure work from the correct locations. During a deeper brake rebuild, the spider is the foundation piece that organizes the camshaft bore, seal area, and shoe hardware locations around the axle end. The Euclid E-1108 puts the spider assembly back into the brake foundation for the specified axle layout.
