Meritor Automatic Slack Adjuster
The Meritor Automatic Slack Adjuster becomes the focus when brake stroke checks point to the adjuster arm after the chamber and clevis have already been inspected. The adjuster uses a 5.50-inch arm, 1.50-inch spline diameter, 28-spline count, and an unclevised layout for service work that keeps the clevis decision separate. Its automatic mechanism takes up lining wear so pushrod travel does not drift far from the working range. Between chamber motion and camshaft rotation, the Meritor A93275E1201 restores the adjustment point without adding clevis hardware.
