Vent dangerous over-pressure from an air reservoir with the Bendix Air Reservoir Safety Valve. If the governor fails and the compressor keeps pumping, the safety valve opens to stop the reservoir from exceeding a safe pressure. A valve that pops off at normal pressure, or leaks constantly, has worn out, and the Bendix 800534 takes over that protection. Never plug or adjust a safety valve to stop it venting; find the governor or compressor fault instead.
