Bendix D-2A Air Brake Governor
Compressor control on trucks fitted with the D-2A style governor is the use case for the Bendix D-2A Air Brake Governor. The governor loads and unloads the compressor at set pressures, keeping the system charged without constant pumping. Matching the D-2A designation and mounting of the old governor before fitting the Bendix 5010669N avoids plumbing changes. A fresh mounting gasket at installation keeps the governor from leaking at the compressor.
