Peterbilt Suspension Shock Absorber

The Peterbilt Suspension Shock Absorber is an OE shock used across several Peterbilt heavy-truck front suspension applications. Taper-leaf front suspensions on selected 367 and 389 models use the Peterbilt B71-6007 with set-forward axle setups, while other Peterbilt chassis use different front or rear shocks. At that front-suspension position, the shock works with the existing spring and axle hardware. The damper controls rebound and compression movement after road inputs while the spring assembly continues carrying vehicle load.
