Allison Transmission Filter Pressure Switch
The Allison Transmission Filter Pressure Switch watches pressure at the transmission filter and reports it as a simple on-or-off electrical signal. A diaphragm inside moves as pressure rises or falls, and its electrical contacts open or close at a set pressure. The control module cannot see the fluid itself, so it relies on that signal to know what the filter circuit is doing.
