Because both components are integrated into a single housing, a problem in either the electronic controller or pneumatic valve requires replacement of the complete assembly rather than individual internal parts. Restoring both functions together allows wheel speed inputs and brake pressure modulation to remain synchronized during ABS intervention. Replacing the original unit with the WABCO 4005000700 restores that factory-matched coordination, helping the trailer maintain stable, consistent braking when traction changes suddenly.
