Product Description
Air Dryer
Features & Benefits
- Service-new AD-9 assembly replaces a dryer whose body or valves have failed
- Ends daily manual draining of the reservoirs once drying is restored
- Replaceable internal assemblies service without removing the dryer from the truck
- Helps prevent winter freeze-ups in brake valves and air lines
Bendix Air Dryer
A replaceable cartridge holding nearly four pounds of Bendix desiccant is the central feature of the Bendix Air Dryer, giving this AD-9 unit a large capacity for water. Compressed air passing through the cartridge gives up moisture, small particles, and oil aerosols before it reaches the reservoirs. The Bendix 065224 includes a drain valve and purges the collected contaminants automatically each time the governor unloads the compressor. Mounted between the compressor and the tanks, it protects valves and chambers across the system.
