Firestone Air Spring
The Firestone Air Spring absorbs road vibrations to protect the vehicle chassis and cargo from impact damage. This heavy-duty air bag uses reinforced rubber bellows to carry the vertical load of the trailer axle. Those flexible walls expand under air pressure to create a cushion that prevents the frame from bottoming out on the suspension. This cushioning effect results in a level ride height that keeps the trailer stable during high-speed transit. The steel mounting plates on this Firestone W013589921 air bag unit match factory bolt holes to provide a secure foundation for the pressurized air.
