Under regional-haul conditions with fluctuating axle loads, the Goodyear Rolling Lobe Air Suspension Spring modulates ride height as the compressed air volume in the suspension chamber changes. Unlike fixed-coil systems, this air spring adapts to load variations by adjusting internal air pressure, keeping trailer frames level as cargo shifts. The rolling sleeve transitions along the piston contour during compression cycles, distributing vertical movement through the suspension assembly. By responding to changes in axle displacement across varying freight weights, the Goodyear 1R11-221 contributes to balanced ride control across long-haul operations.
