Trailer and truck axle rebuilds where the camshaft splines or cam head show wear are the use case for the Bendix Air Brake Camshaft. Worn splines let the slack adjuster slip, and a worn cam head pushes the shoes unevenly, so both reduce braking force. Fitting the Bendix K082633 with new bushings and seals gives the rebuilt brake a firm, even pivot. Greasing the bushings until fresh grease appears completes the job.
