BENDIX K057542 Part Description
Manufacturer
Product Description
Air Dryer
Features & Benefits
- Replaces the housing, valves, and desiccant in one assembly
- Complete dryer design removes water vapor before the reservoirs
- Substitutes a complete dryer for a desiccant-only repair
- Leftover moisture clears once every tank is drained after installation
Bendix Air Brake Dryer
Water in the air tanks even after a new cartridge can mean the dryer itself has failed, and the Bendix Air Brake Dryer replaces the complete unit. A stuck purge valve or failed heater keeps a dryer from working no matter how fresh the desiccant is, so the Bendix K057542 replaces the complete unit. Swapping the whole assembly fixes those internal failures in one installation. Draining every tank afterward clears the water the failed dryer let through.
