Bendix DC-4 Air Brake Double Check Valve
The Bendix DC-4 Air Brake Double Check Valve is designed to route air from two separate supply sources into a single delivery line, automatically selecting whichever source has the higher pressure. Commonly used in air brake systems, this valve ensures consistent air delivery without allowing pressure loss from the lower-pressure side. Inside the valve, a movable shuttle shifts position to seal off the weaker supply, preventing air from bleeding back into the system. The Bendix 278614 features standard 3/8-18 NPT female ports and is built to operate across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for year-round service.
