Meritor Shock Absorber Retainer Washer
The Meritor Shock Absorber Retainer Washer helps determine whether a new damper sits correctly or rattles against old hardware. The washer works at the suspension shock mount, spreading contact around the bushing and mount area as the fastener is tightened. Its flange shape creates a broader seating face than a plain flat washer, making it part of the small hardware stack that finishes the shock installation. After the damper is positioned, the Meritor 401750 secures the mounting stack with the correct retainer washer.
