Allison Transmission Oil Pressure Switch

On 5-speed transmissions from 2001-2005, the Allison Transmission Oil Pressure Switch lets the control system know when oil pressure has reached a set level. A diaphragm moves with pressure and flips an electrical contact, the same on-or-off logic used by pressure switches elsewhere in the vehicle. That on-or-off report tells the control module something about the hydraulic system it cannot learn by itself. The Allison Transmission 29546972 replaces the switch alone, and the module stays untouched.

This is a genuine OEM Allison replacement pressure switch assembly. This assembly will fit all 2001-2005 Allison 5-Speed transmission assemblies.
