The MEI 1639 Expansion Valve is an internally equalized type of valve that features an inlet of M16 metric and an outlet of M20 metric. The capillary tube length measures 16 1/2" with a rating of 1 1/2 ton. Expansion valves help contol the flow of refrigerants that enters the evaporator which depends on evaporators temperature and cooling load.
