Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve
The Bendix Air Brake Relay Valve takes a small control signal from the foot valve and delivers full reservoir air to the brake chambers on its axle. Placing that delivery close to the chambers cuts application and release time compared with piping all the air from the cab. Water or oil in the system can wear the valve's internal seals, so the Bendix 800485 is a natural replacement when moisture problems have been found. Fixing the dryer at the same time protects the new valve.
