Bendix Air Brake Dash Valve
Push-pull control from the cab is the key feature of the Bendix Air Brake Dash Valve, which lets the driver set and release the brakes with a knob. Pulling the knob exhausts air to apply the brakes, and pushing it in sends air to release them. The Bendix 802804 should match the knob color and function of the original, since dash valves control different circuits. A knob that pops out at low pressure is doing its job, so that behavior should be checked after installation.
