BorgWarner Engine Cooling Fan Clutch

The BorgWarner Engine Cooling Fan Clutch is a 750 Series viscous unit that engages the cooling fan only as hard as engine temperature requires. An air-sensing element on the front of the clutch reads the temperature of air coming off the radiator and adjusts engagement automatically. The BorgWarner 010020914 lets the fan freewheel when cooling demand is low, cutting fan drag and noise. That on-demand action saves engine power compared with a fan that stays fully locked.
