Kit Masters GoldTop Engine Cooling Fan Clutch
Loss of fan clutch engagement interrupts airflow through the radiator, and the Kit Masters GoldTop Engine Cooling Fan Clutch replaces the clutch assembly that controls fan engagement under engine load. This unit is supplied as a remanufactured fan clutch and is used in place of Horton HT and HT-S style clutches found on many heavy-duty diesel applications, including Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines. As part of the GoldTop line, it is built with high-torque friction components designed to drive large engine cooling fans without slipping under load. An internal Auto Lock fail-safe mechanism mechanically engages the fan if friction material reaches its wear limit, maintaining airflow instead of allowing disengagement. The clutch is installed as a complete assembly using the existing fan and mounting hardware. Cooling performance depends on reliable fan engagement, and this Kit Masters 99067 clutch is designed to maintain that engagement under demanding conditions.
