Fleetguard Engine Air Filter
Air intake sealing plays a critical role in engine wear control, and the Fleetguard Engine Air Filter is built around a radial-seal design to control that interface. This primary air filter measures over 22 inches in height, providing the media volume needed to support high airflow in large-displacement engines. Fleetguard’s Magnum RS sealing system uses a molded urethane seal that compresses radially against the housing, maintaining contact even when vibration or housing distortion is present. The filter media is arranged with controlled pleat spacing so airflow remains consistent as dust accumulates across the element. This design limits unfiltered air entry caused by seal leakage or uneven pleat loading. The Fleetguard AF1968 filter installs in compatible air cleaner housings that accept radial-seal primary elements.
