Baldwin Engine Air Filter

Abrasive silica particles entering the intake air accelerate cylinder liner wear, and the Baldwin Engine Air Filter is the primary barrier that stops that contamination before it reaches the engine. This radial seal filter uses controlled media pleating to increase surface area, allowing it to hold a high dust load without creating excessive restriction as airflow demand increases. Heavy-duty urethane end caps form a tight seal against the air cleaner housing, blocking unfiltered air that leads to dashing and uneven engine wear. An internal steel wrap supports the media pack so it maintains shape under the high inlet vacuum generated by turbocharged Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Western Star engines.
