Baldwin Engine Oil Filter
The Baldwin Engine Oil Filter is built for canister-style oil housings that depend entirely on the element’s height and center tube dimensions to control oil flow. Its overall length positions the end caps firmly against the upper housing cover and lower standpipe, directing oil through the media rather than around it. Because the housing manages bypass and drain-back functions externally, this element is constructed without internal valves that could disrupt that routing. The end-cap design and center tube structure are formed to compress evenly when the housing cap is secured, maintaining proper internal sealing pressure. The Baldwin P7494 is engineered to match the seating and flow requirements of reusable canister assemblies that rely on exact element fit.
