A hydraulic brake pedal that feels hard or requires noticeably more effort to stop the truck often means the Bendix Power Brake Booster has failed rather than a problem in the brake lines themselves. Bolted to the same firewall mounting pattern as the original booster, the Bendix 2772819 lets the master cylinder and pedal linkage reconnect without modification. This booster uses hydraulic pressure rather than vacuum to multiply pedal force, suited to trucks where vacuum alone can't provide enough boost. Restored hydraulic assist lowers driver effort while maintaining full braking force.
