Bendix Air Brake Spider and Pin Assembly
Anchor the brake shoes firmly to the axle during an S-cam rebuild by fitting the Bendix Air Brake Spider and Pin Assembly. The spider bolts to the axle flange and carries the anchor pins, so the Bendix K124778N gives the shoes a solid pivot where worn pin bores had let them shift. New anchor pins installed with it complete the repair. Torquing the spider bolts to the axle maker's value keeps the whole assembly tight against the flange.
